Rick Warren: Preaching Does not Grow Your Church

Rick Warren says that praying, loving people, and preaching does not grow a church. The videos are at the bottom of this post, but don’t forget to check out the links.First, where does the Bible say that the pastor’s responsibility is to grow his church? Read what Dan Phillips has to say over at Team Pyro about how the success of pastoral ministry can’t be measured.

Second, check out what Jason over at Fide-O has to say about the importance of preaching in the church.

Last, I first watched the videos over at Steven J. Camp’s blog. I encourage you to watch them here at Sober Discourse (I have embedded them for your convenience) or there, but wherever you watch them, go to his page and check out the comments, also.
