Link: Shall We Dance?

I’d like to say that I’m shocked and surpised, horrified, even, and I will admit I should be, but after hearing the stories I’ve heard about what passes for “worship” in many, if not most, churches nowadays (churches so-called), the most an account like this can elicit is a raising of my eyebrows.

What gets me is the disbelief that registers on the faces of some church members when you tell them that stuff like this goes on in churches (yes, even some with the name “Baptist” on the sign). And some people think Word-centered, Christ-honoring churches are a-dime-a-dozen.

Dr. Renihan is right, there is a new liberalism (call it seeker-sensitive, emergent, or whatever) that has infiltrated our churches and, yes, we do need a new Reformation.

Anyway, here’s the story: Shall We Dance?
