Chaplains Banned from Using the Words "God" or "Lord"

Chaplain Resigns over ban on the word “God”

Apparently the chaplain was verbally reprimanded for giving an “inspirational message” from Psalm 23 because it contained the word “Lord.”

It all started when a chaplain was asked to give a talk but the director wanted the tone more “motivational” and less “devotional.”

It would be easy to paint this as a matter of religious discrimination or political correctness, when it is really just a matter of someone not even thinking about the absurdity of the situation.
