Outstanding Review of Tullian Tchividjian’s Jesus + Nothing = Everything

Mark Jones has written an outstanding review of Tullian Tchividjian’s book, Jesus + Nothing = Everything. His review is not only right on target, but also is a great example of how a book review should be written. He has accurately reflected Tchividjian’s position, but also interacted and critiqued it in an irenic and thoughtful way. He has answered specific points while placing both the Tchividjian’s erroneous views and his own critiques in the context of historical theology and Scripture. Outstanding work.

One good conclusion to draw from this review is that theology that one can place on a bumper sticker or a t-shirt may be catchy and easy to remember, but that doesn’t mean it’s accurate and it’s certainly not comprehensive.
